"PUPPY STARTING AREA"

Within the Club Area,there is a 2 acre Puppy Starting  ready to be utlized by any member with new Puppies.

SEE NOTES UNDER PUPPY AREA

When the puppy takes sent they must be removed and are considered started and ready for the puppy starting area.

We will use this area to stock our other areas if needed.

Thanks to the Area Chairman & Co-Chairman,along with many dedicated members this area has an excellent rabbit population.

Great trimmed and marked trails and great habitat.

 Dwight Raab has made and posted signs throughout the area allowing all using the are to locate the feeders along with directions within the area.

Habitat Development

*Logging operations:

1st logging operation during the 1990's   

    2000 trees were planted

2nd logging operation 2007   

    *On Earth Day April 22,2006,13 members planted 500 Norway Spruce.

 *Starting in  2008 through  2012 Cedar Works donated to our club 1000 cedar seedling, these were planted in all areas.

33 YEAR OLD SCREEN HOUSE

Built by "Charles Werner" in 1983 allows members to keep warm and out of the Maine black fly population and stay warm in the winter.

PORCUPINES ARE A MAJOR CONCERN,THEY EAT A LOT OF FOOD AND ARE DANGEROUS TO THE HOUNDS

Members are working on securing the cage so that they are unable to get to the food
